Based in Toronto, Lauren Chan 陳 思 朗 is a freelance Associate Producer and Production Coordinator with a strong background in commercial motion and stills production.

With experience spanning project coordination, business development, and design, she’s developed key skills in leadership, client relations, and creative problem-solving. While Lauren is very comfortable with typical production coordination tasks (creating pre-pro books, call sheets, and other production documents; managing all aspects of talent including casting, fitting, releases, travel, and accommodations; location search and permitting; shoot day logistics and producer support; invoicing, etc.) she stands out by consistently going above and beyond in her role—taking on additional responsibilities like building pitch decks, supporting the bidding process, scouting directors for creative briefs, and assisting with concept development. She quickly adapts to dynamic situations and can often be found proactively coming up with solutions to production and operational challenges.

Described as a "self-starter" and a "workhorse," Lauren brings passion and precision to every project she takes on. There is no such thing as an immovable object for this unstoppable force!

Lauren falls asleep dreaming of making visually striking and impactful projects. And she secretly loves waking up for 5AM call times. In her free time, you can find her doing yoga, hanging out at the dog park, or sketching.
